Review: Vichy Laboratoires Normaderm Tri-Active Face Cleanser
I would like to spill the beans and disclose my love for face washes. When it comes to selecting face washes, I never stick to one product or one brand, for that matter. I love to experiment and am always on a lookout for new ones. All said, I do have my HG face wash and its always there to rescue me. This time I laid my hands on the Vichy Normaderm range. I was very excited to share my experience as this was my first Vichy skin care product.

My Experience with Vichy Laboratoires Normaderm Tri- Active Cleanser
No soap, parabens and alcohol. Read it and I was sold. I picked up the product instantly knowing very well that the usage of paraben, alcohol and SLS/ SLES in skin care products can cause harm, especially to sensitive skin. So this product had to be really good. Plus this face wash has a 3-in-1 characteristic which means it acts as a cleanser, scrub and mask.
Packaging: The packaging is quite simple. The product comes in a green and white tube with a dual flip open and screw white cap. The cap is quite sturdy and the product is travel friendly.
Colour & Fragrance: The face wash is lightest green in colour with micro beads in it for exfoliation. It has a very mild fragrance, which I found difficult to describe. Not to mention that the fragrance does not linger after washing off.

How it works?
I squeeze a 50p coin size product out on my palm and massage it onto my damp skin. Thereafter I let it dry for few minutes and then wash off. It dries out well within 5 minutes. It cleanse my face effectively and removes traces of dirt and small whiteheads from the skin. But it also makes the skin somewhat dry. Please note that I have a combination skin with oily T-zone. I have also observed that if the scrubbing process is slightly elongated, then I tend my skin turns red for some time. I guess, the company’s claim of this product suiting sensitive skin does not hold too good.
Pros of Vichy Laboratoires Normaderm Tri- Active Cleanser
- Thick consistency, hence less product is required for single usage
- 3-in-1 product; cleanser, scrub and mask in one
- Pleasant and mild fragrance
- Contains goodness of kaolin and glycerine
- Is paraben, soap and alcohol free
Cons of Vichy Laboratoires Normaderm Tri- Active Cleanser
- Pricey
- Causes slight redness if scrubbed for long
Rating: 4/ 5
Final Verdict: This face wash has nothing extra ordinary in it for the price it comes for. However, it may prove very good for oily skin as it washes away all sebum effectively. It is worth one try but I may not buy this again.
