Review: Makeup Academy Blushes
Brand new blushes from MAKEUP ACADEMY (MUA)! We don’t get them in India, hence the excitement. I scored three shades and they are absolutely mind blowing. Smooth texture, long lasting, pearl and sparkle shine (now you can throw your highlighter in a corner) and lovely consistency. You brush them on once and they will not disappoint you for the rest of the day unless you decide to rub your cheek on something.

I own MUA Shade 2, 3 and 4. Shade 1 is a very light pink which I already have therefore I decided to try the other beautiful shades.

Shade 2: It is pink with a brown tint to it. It has a pearl finish to it and you can spot the sparkle in the light. Perfect for summer, a casual day with your friends or the days when you are on cloud 9. Shade 2 is like a comfort shade that can please you on the most awful days. Like chocolate.

Shade 3: Dark peachy color of MUA has the maximum gold sparkle to help you shine. You can work this color with bright eyes. It is excellent for an evening plan, night out with the girls or friends, dinner plans and special events where you need to rock your dress or no promotion for you.

Shade 4: Everyone loves coral but do you like a dark coral better? I don’t know how to place this color in my list. It is a very strong unusual shade to work with. You need to be so careful with such shades because if you go wrong you can look hideous. It’s a harsh word but it is true ladies. It can work as a bronzer if not a blush which I think is the safest bet.
You can buy it here: http://www.muastore.co.uk/index.php/blusher
Or
Tell one of your cousins in London to get it for you

(Shade 3 and 4 look similar here, apologies)
How to use:
- Take your fluffy blush brush and gently tap the brush on the blusher twice.
- Apply and blend onto your cheekbone.
- Shade 4 can be used as a bronzer therefore you can apply this under your cheekbone and contour.
I cannot answer the question; “Would I repurchase?” because I will try my best to use it as little as possible. It is not easily available therefore I shall make it work as long as I wish.
DO NOT RUB THE BRUSH IN THE BLUSHER. Why? Because these blushes are highly pigmented and their consistency is pretty thick so they tend to stick to you brush easily. Remember to start with less!
